FLeming Save & Prosper

I had a PPI with Fleming in the 1990's. I have all the paperwork showing the premiums. Fleming no longer exist. From my research, Fleming bought by J p Morgan, bought by Abbey National, bought by MNBA. I am referring to the credit card business.
MNBA say it is nothing to do with them. I say if you have the assets you have responsibilities to the liabilities. Any ideas how one can proceed?

I say if you have the assets you have responsibilities to the liabilities.

Which of course, isn't how it works in the real world.
