Time limits

Good morning,
I have successfully fully reclaimed PPI from both Capital One and Barclaycard and have an outstanding claim with MBNA formerly Virgin.
I have received notification that they have agreed a refund under 'Plevin', my PPI Agent tells me that they have 8 weeks to notify me of the total amount from the date of notification and arrange payment.
My question is, are there statutory time limits on this process and if so what are they and what are the consequences if MBNA fail to keep to them ?

The consequence would be that they will need to pay you more, as the interest will start to build.
Obviously you could escalate a massive delay (eg severeal months) to FOS, but otherwise, you won't need to take any action.0 -
Thanks for that,,0
