Self employed sole trader issue

Hello everyone

I am looking for some help. I have started working as self employed and will get my invoice issued for the month of November however I am not registered as SE yet due to some personal data errors revenue has got in the system. They need up to 4 weeks to get the thing fixed.

My question is how much time do I have to register?
Will there be any penalty for registering as SE in two / three months from when the first invoice has been issued?

Any help appreciated.
