Partner works 9 hours a week and I claim ESA SG (CB). Our income per week is lower than the government amount we need to live on (£310 per week), so therefore get full HB. Also have two young children.
If I manage to get a part time work (with my disabilities and capabilities), of say 25 hours, I would come off ESA.
Would I still get full HB (9 + 25 = 34 hours)?
The working wage would be less than government amount.
Thanks

I doubt whether you would get full HB as you would then be entitled to working tax credits and that is counted as income for HB.
As already said, put your details into a benefits calculator.0 -

Have you taken into account your earnings and tax credits and HB to see if you are worse off?0 -
If joint hours are less than 30, I wouldn't get WTC disability, that also applies to enhanced disability premium and ESA support component. I guess working part time hours, would mean paying more rent?0
