Wifi Security camera 8th Oct 17 at 4:01 PM
    Hi
I would like to fit a small internal security camera that can connect to the wifi so I can check house is okay remotely. Mainly to check my teen has locked the house properly when I'm at work.

Can anyone suggest any models from Maplin or Amazon which are reputable, and if they work well an 2nd can be added easily, for view from an App?

    Thanks

This might be worth a look:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073WXKBDR

Haven't used one of these and it looks like that rolling droid thing on Star Wars, a BB-8.

That being said, for this sort of stuff you tend to get what you pay for.

If you had an old android mobile phone hanging around, you can possibly pop an app on one to act as an IP camera.

I've had an old foscam working for years, cost 45.. it's a bit of a pain messing with my router to make it work externally though.

There are many CCTV installation companies which deal with WiFi security camera. You can consult with them. They will better assist you according to your need.
