APCOA PCN Birmingham Airport in Rental Car

Hello,
I realise there are a ton of threads on this and I don't want to waste anyone's time but is there a letter I can copy specifically designed for receiving this notice in a rental car? I do not understand half the points made in the letters posted so I don't know which points I should or shouldn't copy. I have only received the PCN so far dated 24/08/17 for a contravention of dropping off or picking up outside designated areas (in front of the IBIS hotel, actually we just stopped right in the middle of the street) on 16/07/17. There are no signs or red lines to be seen on the CCTV images they have sent me. We had registered 2 drivers for the rental car, my father and myself.
If anyone can just point me in the right direction to a letter that has already been formulated I would be very grateful!
Thank you very much,
Caroline

The Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum advises on how to deal with this situation including extra advice when a hire car is involved.0

Hi Quentin,
Thank you for your fast reply, however the examples given are not to APCOA and are therefore in my very unqualified eyes completely different to the letter I need to write?
Thank you again for your time,
Caroline0 -
I have also received the letter from APCOA directly, not from my car hire company, addressed to "the respondent" and naming me as "the registered keeper" of the vehicle.0

This is almost certainly land covered by bye-laws where different rules apply. Read these

There is much much more, google "parking fine at Luton Airport".You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thank you! I have read so many of these threads but am just so lost. I have absolutely no legal knowledge whatsoever. I was hoping for a letter that has already been posted from someone in my position, there must be one? I know it's the easy way out but I am forever grateful0

We never lose against APCOA and this will be a cinch. No need to look further.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
