Being new to downloading I am a bit dubious about this App. I know its from the MSE site but going through the procedure it asked for access to my identity, SMS, photos/media/files, camera and microphone. I stopped at this point. I understand camera but why the rest? Has anybody downloaded this app? Thanks for any help.

Google translate is good but I wanted to have a go with this app as according to MSE newsletter by using this and the language pack it will work offline overseas. (Handy for holidays)0

Google Translate can also work offline, you just have to download the language within the app.
