Translater App

Being new to downloading I am a bit dubious about this App. I know its from the MSE site but going through the procedure it asked for access to my identity, SMS, photos/media/files, camera and microphone. I stopped at this point. I understand camera but why the rest? Has anybody downloaded this app? Thanks for any help.

I agree. Even with different alphabets, google translate performs well.

Google Translate can also work offline, you just have to download the language within the app.

Google Translate is awesome, don't waste time with whatever MSE are being paid to promote.
