insurance cancelled marker

I was advised a marker was placed on majority of insurance companies last year as i forgot to add a nff claim
Thinking ahead to next year can the marker be removed thrn i could possibly renew via best quotes etc
I did mange to renew meanwhile though onsiderably higher cost

Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb

Irrespective of any marker, if you're asked the question about previous cancellations then you have to disclose your history, truthfully.
Therefore the marker is an irrelevance, unless you're looking to remove it so you can misrepresent another risk?1 -

You are stuck with this cancelled policy in your history and should disclose it to any insurers you approach for quotes.
Most off the peg online companies refuse to quote anyone with this in their history

Best to manually shop around.
Individually get quotes from insurers.
They all ask different questions/combinations of questions.
Keep a note of which ones ask the problematic questions for next year.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.1
