Athena charge - business lease - overdue reminder stage

Options
Hi all

Sorry to ask this question, I have tried to find out for myself using the newbies FAQ but I'm not sure the exact situation is explicitly covered.

My wife received a PCN from Athena (letter headed ALD Automotive) following an extended visit to Starbucks and Lidl, and possibly Evans Cycles and Nisbets, who I believe all share the parking facilities. I'm vague because it was such a long time ago (March 2017) and my wife is a customer of Nisbets with her business, and I have recently bought a bike from Evans - we could easily have visited all of them that day.

Having read some advice (likely outdated and wrong) we ignored the initial PCN (dated 12/4/17) and have now received a subsequent "Overdue Reminder" (dated 26/5/17). Having found this forum tonight I think we probably should have sent the template appeal for IPC members letter. What I want to double check is:

1) The car is a business lease, my wife is the business owner, I can't remember who was driving but we are both insured to - is this letter the correct one to send?
2) As things have progressed to an overdue reminder - is it too late to send the letter?
3) There was no windscreen ticket - does this change anything in the above scenario?

Thank you for your help.

The axis is likely to be Athena:Lidl. Two monkeys in the one sack.

Do a search on the forum on 'Christian Haertnagel' (note spelling) Lidl CEO and do as many have previously - assertive email complaint and get him to cancel. Previous till receipts or bank/cc statements, showing regular patronage, attached to the email, will help.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
