Hi All,
Haven't been on these forums for quite some time!!!
:o Anyhow, to cut a lonf story short, The Irish Open golf tournament is at my home course this year so my folks are wanting to get Sky in for the first time in their lives. I have it already, so shall be recording on my own TV (and going each day, too). Anyway, I need a good deal for them to avail of. I'm aware I have newly misses a couple of discount code offers. Tournament is in 3.5 week's time, so need something by then. TBH, sports and regular bundle should suffice. Thought about Now TV option, but you can't record on this - correct? Might still be an option if Sky show highlights / repeated coverage at night, etc. Will there likely be more discount codes released in the future?
Thanks.

Thanks.

If they only want Sky for the one tournament, then the Now TV monthly pass would be a much cheaper option even though you can't record as long as they have a decent broadband connection. It's £33.99 a month.
I think the cheapest package on Sky with sports is about £50 a month so over 18 months would cost £900. If they do decide to go to Sky though, make sure they go through a cashback website. They could also go on live chat and see if they can get the package discounted.
Not sure what the current lead times are for installation. They could risk it and wait for another discount offer, but there is no guarantee that one will appear in time.0
