Timeshare With a Difference

So hear goes. I bought myself a Timeshare. I know, idiot I hear you say. Well I'm very happy with it. I have one problem though if I don't use it I get a 10% annual return on what I invested. The trouble is it's in quarterly american Dollar cheques. What's the least expensive way of changing them into Sterling

The only thing you can do is to shop around for the best ROE on the Internet. It will depend on the quantity imagine. It may be you will need to use a high street travel agent or bank.
My poor brother who started drinking more when in his 70s was
convinced to go and view one of these places in Tenerife. It was obvious neither he or his wife had a clue what it was all about. They didn't even like Tenerife! But he handed over his credit card and you can guess the rest.
  • You'll also have to file annual US tax returns so you'll need a US$ account to pay the tax (which is creditable in the UK).
  • It's in the Dominican Republic, (we have been there a few times and love it) not in the US does that make a difference? what do you mean by creditable, do you mean taxable?
