Green manures for planting now

Hi all
I am looking at green manures to cover the soil in my allotment over winter and hopefully improve soul nutrients when I dig them in. I had assumed I would have no problem finding some suitable to plant around now, but most of the winter mixes I have looked at say plant until September. Can anybody recommend a green manure suitable for planting over the next three or four weeks as summer crops come out the ground? Or do you think the usual winter mixes would do okay being planted a little late?
Thanks for any advice!

Guess a lot depends where you live, I'm in Hampshire & would not hesitate, maybe if I were in Hebrides I would think twiceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

with the ever milder winters chances are it will be fine to sow now0

Winter beans can be sown now and dug in before they flower in the spring.0
