Liverpool FC credit card from MBNA

Hi, I've never had a credit card before but have heard that it's good for your credit score in the future to have one and pay it back on time.
I also saw this offer for a Liverpool FC credit card which offers a free Liverpool shirt if you spend or transfer £200 in the first 90 days (the same period which has 0% on transfers and purchases).
I'm a bit confused about what 'transfers' means though. Can I just use the card to transfer money to another account of mine or a friend's account and transfer it back to my current account from there? Is this a decent deal or will I end up paying any fees?
I probably wouldn't be able to spend £200 on the card without splashing out, so interested in the transfers part.
My plan is to pay off the card from my account as soon as I get the bill each month until I get the shirt then pay off anything left and stop using the card. Is there a downside to this that I'm missing?
I can't post the link to the offer as a new user but if you go to the Liverpool FC website it is the shirt offer on the welcome page.

No. It means balance transfer, where you move debt from an existing card.0

OK thanks, I realised that I can buy christmas presents early to make sure I spend £200 in 90 days, so I'll just use that way.
I've never had a credit card before though and don't know much about them, what do I need to watch out for to make sure I don't get charged anything?0 -
Clear the balance in full each month when you get the statement. Don't go over limit and don't take out cash.0

There is better cards out there then this.0

Better in what way? I won't be using the card after the 90 days is up0
