    I second the Breville one cup but i would get the one with variable amount and stop function , its more expensive but safer.

    I use a kettle tipper and you have to be careful about 'aiming' without geting a flood depends on your dexterity..i've scolded myself a few times.

    Choosing from the two in the opening post i prefer the first one where you hold the kettle or the little ring on the underside to tip.. you need a tidier counter and better control with the tippers that have the plastic paddle down the side. But that's just my experience and disability.

    The instant hot water machines are great for cups and some you can get a saucepan under but I found it a struggle with a teapot and prefer a kettle tipper personally. Although we did buy a hot water dispenser for my parents.
