Screwfix won't admit or fix their mistake, even thou they've taken my money.
I ordered some items today from Screwfix and received their confirmation email at 14:14 stating that delivery will be to my home address; which was correctly shown.
At 16:56 I receive Despatch Confirmation email from Screwfix saying the items have now been packed and are on there way. The address Screwfix are sending the items to is incorrect. Not the correct address as stated in their first email at 14:14. Parcelforce cannot deliver the incorrectly addressed parcel , it is an unknown address.
I phoned Screwfix to complain etc and spoke to a Paul Swayne ( manager? ) who advises the incorrect address must be my fault as my address in my registered user file will be wrong. I checked and my registered address was and is correct. I phoned him again and told him this and the parcel is addressed to a lane in Wales and therefore cannot be delivered. He advised there's nothing he can do and wait till it happens again. I pointed out this is the third time it's happened !!! Previously, when phoning/complaining I have been told Screwfix will fix it - obviously lies.
The parcels before have actually been delivered because the Parcelforce driver knows us by name etc. If there's a new driver he will not be able to deliver the parcel.
The fault lies with Screwfix and they won't even admit or fix their fault.
Anybody know how I can contact the MD or somebody in high authority; please??

Hello Happy_saver
I'll move your thread to 'The (Consumer) Vent' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Before you fire off your letter, double check whether there's more than one place to type your address in on their website.
Amazon, for example, has (From memory) boxes for your delivery address, alternative delivery address and cardholder address)
It's possible screwfix is like this and has "auto filled" one of the boxes on your behalf.0 -
Anyway, my gripe with screwfix:
Their telly advert states something like: "100% ex stock, delivered the next day".
Ordered some SCREWS via their website.
Three hours later a phone call from SCREWfix: "Sorry Sir, we don't have those screws in stock. It'll be another couple of weeks before we get them in"
Grrr!0
