Please help, a Timeshare release company have approached us to assist in relinquishing our timeshare for a fee. The contract look ok but is it worth the paper it is written on? Will they really be able to take over the timeshare contract?

If someone wants to buy your timeshare from you, tell them you will pay them on results. Once you have had it confirmed by the timeshare company, not the buyer, that you have no further liability, you will pay their fee and not a minute sooner. Estate agents only get paid when the sale is complete, so why pay up front to someone who will almost certainly do nothing at all for you? Make them the offer, watch them run to the hills and realise the whole deal was indeed a scam to get more money form you0
