How do I get rid of Memova messaging?

Options
I have a TalkTalk email account and after only a few minutes of looking at my emails I get a message saying I have been logged out by this messaging service!
In Control Panel there is no mention of it, so I can't uninstall it. Malware doesn't highlight it as a virus. TalkTalk tell me to use another browser. But I just want to get rid of it. I didn't have it before so.....why is it popping up now?
Any advice gratefully received.

    What browser are you using?
Have you checked whether there is a Memova plugin?

It is definitely connected with Tiscali/Talk Talk. Not sure as to why they are directing you to the forum.

    Hi

I don't know what 'Memova' really is.

    Action I might take.

Try another browser, Opera or Chrome instead of IE and Firefox.

This might show if it is browser independent and locked into TalkTalk email.

Then I might open an email account like yahoo or gmail and have the emails forwarded (and deleted) from TT box.

Use an email client like Thunderbird and get it to collect emails so that you can read / write locally while you hunt down and kill memova.

I realise that you shouldn't need to do this, it seems to be a TT problem to resolve.

i had the same bother with these crooks 3 of them went to jail for all sorts of violations.
i realise that one wants to keep ones contacts and important sent / received emails so before you proceed please save all important data..

i got what appeared to be a message from AOL- TALKTALK informing me that they were refreshing my email account and when i entered my email address and password i soon began to get this ' memova ' ' log in ' pop up, and after trying all sorts of advice from talktalk and others the problem persisted...i therefore thought that a change of login details, may fix this and it did, permanently..

i know that it can be bothersome to change ones email address / login details as you will lose contacts, sent and received mail, but it is better to start from scratch, than having no access to your webmail...by the way this memova nuisance occurred only with my TAKLKTALK.NET , and yahoo, gmail, and outlook were NOT affected..

as stated earlier, this is a definite FIX
    cheers jimmy
