£50 goodie bag worth about a tenner!!!

I was a runner up in the so...? burlesque competition and won a '£50' so...? goodie bag, so I was very excited , when the parcel came through today all the items in total full price amount to about £13 maximum!! So was a bit disappointed with it, thought it was a bit cheeky!

Anyone else had any similar experiences? I feel like tweeting thanks for the '£50' goodie bag with a pic of the items!

It seems from the terms your runners up prize was valued at only £30.

    15. Minor Prize Details: 5 winners will win a So...? Goody bag containing a variety of So...? products to the value of £30.00.

To be honest, I rarely enter to win goodie bags now unless the company lists what is included. I have won a few that have turned out to be rubbish ie odds and ends the company obviously wants rid of!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

very cheeky them saying it's a £50 goodie bag, well this isn't even worth £30! one EDT worth £9 , 2 mini dry shampoo sprays that are £1.50 each and a £1 lip balm
Oh well better than nothing but it was a bit of a let down opening up the parcel haha :rotfl:

Agree I never enter for 'goody bags', 'merchandise', 'promotional items', 'mystery prize' etc etc it could be any old rubbish and you have no grounds for complaint.

Unless the contents are listed and are useful to me I don't bother - the goody bag you got sounds much better than some I've had : 'Rucksack' (more like a supermarket carrier bag) broken pens, things which might be usable had they not got an embarrassing logo on them which you would never be seen with in public.

Old DVD's encrusted with dust etc.

They are not all bad, I had a "products of the year" goody bag last year and even at supermarket prices the contents were worth £100.

I won one of those too! Fab! I dislike the movie merch prizes - they always send t-shirts that are XXL with the name of the movie across the chest! No good for tiny size 0 me!:(

I've won merch goodie bags and although the prizes might not be 'super amazing'

    I'll never say no to over-sized bed t-shirts :P
