I know it says to buy a promo pack. However, in the past I have not because you don't need to send in the promo packaging. HTH

Be warned: if you buy a BIC pen now, the chances of it running out of ink before the end of the challenge in May 2014 might look a dead certainty, but in my experience they last for absolutely ages!0

Not if you are a teacher - I got through 2 in November / December. Admittedly, I did have a lot of exam papers to mark.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

So, where's the cheapest place to buy a 10 pack?
I can see them on ebay, but not sure if that would qualify.0 -

If you read the T&C's you'll see that a receipt paid by a credit card isn't accepted, so they may not allow Paypal either.
I'd check your local stores, and pay cash. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
I think what they mean by a credit card receipt is the slip printed by the credit card machine rather than the till, and usually this receipt don't have the description of the products you've bought. It often has the merchant details (such as Barclaycard/HSBC Merchant Services, etc), and the merchant and transaction nos.
Some shops have the till and credit card payment facilities combined (usually major stores and supermarkets), so both will be on the receipt.
But I'd play it safe and pay by cash anyway.0 -
So is it ONE pen or the whole TEN pack you need to use up? xIf you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got...0
