Hi, I've been dismissed end of november. I've paid for my Mppi for 8 years but I had just moved out of the mppi property in the first weekend of september for the new school year before buying a new property (offer now accepted)... My mortgage will be ported to the new house. The issue is that the insurance company is asking for a<3 months old utility bill... I do not have one since it was rented to a tenant as I've also been renting at the same time... Any solution? If i could get hold of a utility bill would the insurer also check my current address from the electoral roll/ credit report type of database?

) they will be too happy to say that if my last bill ends mid novemberand I am dismissed end of november i would not be covered... Even though i ve paid on my mppi for 8 years... That's why i am quite desperate and looking for any possible solution... Do people customise their utility bills and get away with it? Is the risk very high?
When paying a claim is the current address checked through other sources like electoral roll/credit report/192 type database.... Life is so unfair...0 -
And as discussed earlier, to make it worst, my current address (on some databases) since september is not the one where I have my mortgage What a nightmare0

MPPI claims are normally predicated on there being "no fault" involved in your unemployment. Was the reason for your dismissal related to your conduct?I am a mortgage broker. Since the insurer has started the legal aid to sue my employer I am not sure if I should cut my losses now or try to make it work at any cost0

Yes, after 20 years I was dismissed for performance related reasons, I am pretty sure I will win, not too worried about this. It's just if I can be covered by my ijsurer that worries me.0
