Peugeot Financial Services / Robins & Day Ltd

Hi,

Had a car loan Banque PSA Finance from yonks ago. Trying to claw back the ppi & here the letter i received back from Peugeot:

" we note your complaint relates to the sale of ppi conducted by Robins & Day (car dealership) who are registered as an authorised firm with the FSA. This means that the dealer is directly authorised and regulated by the FSA in the sale of ppi & other retail products. Thus it would be the responsibility of Robins & Day to investigate & respond to any allegation of mis selling in this case rather than Peugeot Fins serv. So we have fowarded your letter and requested that Robins & Day respond to you direct regarding the issues raised

is this correct or am i being palmed off?

It is correct. You are not complaining about the product. You are complaining about the sale. So, you direct your complaint to the seller. In this case, you complain to your dealer.
