I want to cancel Income support?

I have income support, child benefit & child tax credit.
I want to cancel my income support as i want to jump in and try to make my own money through online work. I have stuck to only allowing myself to make £20 a week at the moment as im legally allowed to, but i know i can make a lot more. (well probably just enough to cover what income support is giving me)
I would like to register as self employed
My issue is, what information will i need to give them to just cancel my income support for now, & will my child tax credits/benefit be taken too?

what I did when I was on income supprt, some weeks I earned more than £20 per week others £20 or less, I got in contact with the benefits delievery centre, and informed them and came to an arrangement about how I would send the wage slips in, as sometimes I would do a job in March but not get paid till June, they were happy enough with that, as it was honest and above board.
Then if in a week I earnt more than £20, I use to transfer the extra to a 2nd bank account, so that when the wage slip went in, and was adjusted then my income support was adjusted accordingly.
i'm not saying don't try to be self employed, but i'm saying try it this way for 6 or 12 months, and see how you get on.
As for being self employd ring the tax office there tell you what you need to do, then also contact tax credits, I know there is a leaway before your tax credits get affected, but cover yourself at all times.
I hope it works out, I realy do, but for now keep a safety net, what happens if the children where ill, or ou were ill or there was no work, you'd still be expected to keep your rent and other bills up. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
