Homelet Referencing??

Hi
Thinking of applying for a rented property via an estate agent who uses Homlet for their referencing and credit checks.
I think I read somewhere online that they will use CallCredit to do the credit check. Does anyone know how callcredit differ to Experian? And what they will be looking at to pass us on?
We recently applied for somewhere who uses RentalShield but were seen to be a high risk with an Experian score of 800 odd (which to me is pretty good) especially when there is not any adverse history on there, think the problem was that there was not much credit experience on there.
Any info would be great
Thanks

Not sure if they use Callcredit, but treat with caution, type homelet investigation in to google. I understand that they are currently being investgated by the FSA for mis selling of insurance and that all of there letting agent clients maybe drawn in to the problem. Think they have dismissed the two top execs to try and cover their !!!!!!.0

Just as a side note, your credit score means nothing, it's just 3 random numbers created by the CRA's.
Homelet did use Experian to credit check, can't believe they would use CallCredit when their information isn't as upto date.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -
Hey, here's some info that I found on homelet's referencing that may help (I'm new so I can't post links, so you'll need to add the homelet bit)
