Aqua Card Problem

I got my aqua card through the post on Saturday, and on Sunday I tried to use it to pay for something, just to check everything was working, but the transaction was declined!? in the chip and pin machine the first message was 'PIN OK'.
I rang Aqua on Saturday to activate the card, and was told it was ready to go after I gave them direct debit information.
Has this happened to anyone else? What do people suggest I do?
Thanks,

Even though Aqua is a high interest card, in comparison 35.9% is a lot better than 4214% but unfortunately Wonga will not accept repayment from a credit card. The only way you could use the card to repay would be to take a cash advance which you should avoid as Aqua will charge 10% cash fee as well losing your interest free period.
Have you attempted to enter into a repayment plan with Wonga?0 -
Aqua are terrible. This happened to me too.
When I first received my card I phoned up and activated it and then went out and tried to use it and only to find my card was declined. I phoned them back and found out that the first guy I spoke to didn't activate it properly (nice one!) although as a good will gesture they did credit me £10.
Lately their whole online banking system has been down and no one seems to know why in the call centres.0
