Budgeting Loan - how long for a reply?

I submitted my budgeting loan to the Job Centre last thursday who said they would post it for me (via second class post). I am wondering:
1) How do I know they have received my application?
2) When will I get a reply (and will that be a decision or just an update)?
3) How long does the whole process take roughly (from the point they receive my application to the point they pay money)?

from experience, around 6 weeks, from start to finish, 4 weeks to get the decision, and then about another 2 to pay out. depends on the work load0
