Today was the final payment of my trust deed.
It was hard to admit to myself that I wasn't getting anywhere but deeper in the big debt hole that my life had become. Then the choice was made to enter a trust deed. 3 years seemed like such a long time. But without this I would prob still be massively in debt and unable to plan things that I am planning.
Its not the end but it feels like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Over the past few years I have been forced to budget. It has totally changed the way I look at money and "possessions". Gone are the days I bought the latest and flashiest items. I dont need or want them anymore.
Lesson learned.
