British Gas online - can't sign into my account

On the day that we're all recommended to switch because of the Scottish Power price hike - I want to find out how much I'm spending per unit so I can compare properly, and can't log in.

Coincidence?!

    I wondered that too. I wanted to submit an inflated meter reading so as to buy gas in advance at the old price.

    There's a standard message on their website log-in page now, that wasn't there earlier. They must be updating it.

    Myself and many other customers (or so I'm told) have been unable to access the "predict your next bill" facility for 3 months, and as my complaint is nearing the 8-week deadline that I can then contact the energy ombudsman about it, I was told yesterday that their senior managers online are aware of the fault and that there would be a "robust fix".

    So blame me. Or maybe that's another coincidence. ;):D

    I've been trying to log-in to my BG account all day.

    The good news is you can now log in to your account. :T

    The bad news is (for those experiencing it) they haven't fixed the "predict your next bill" fault. :mad:
