Phone Number for Dixons Customer Services?

I purchased a samsung plasma tv from Dixons just over two years ago and it has broken. I'm arranging for an engineer to take a look at it as I suspect the problem as a manufacturing fault and I hope to claim for a repair or money towards a replacement under the Sale of Goods act. However, I'm not sure how to contact Dixons as they don't seem to have a phone number, only a web 'contact us' facility which does not seem set up for this purpose. Any help gratefully received.

The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

    Its all one number anyway.

Anyho, Dixons Retail (PcWorld/Currys/Currys Digital) are all one central number and thats to KnowHow. They have their own process for SoGA.

First thing I would do is contact KnowHow and enquire about getting a resolution under the SoGA, if you look on this board you will see pleanty of people who have emailed or phoned them under the SoGA who have been contacted by KnowHow and offered a partial refund (in cash) without any independent reports. If KnowHow Call center decides the problem might be user generated (aka not inherent) they will charge £50 for a inspection and pickup the TV/Laptop/Desktop and if it is inherent they will offer a FoC repair or usually a partial refund/replacement.

Yep...it's called "deny all liability and fob the customer off." :rotfl:

  • Absolutely chuffed to find this thread. Whilst not totally sorted to my satisfaction, it is sorted. I shall however never use Dixons again.
