Hi,
Having survived the trauma of the new PC and managing to copy most of the software/data files across (thanks for earlier help), the final obstacle is the scanner.
It is a Umax Astra 2100U flatbed, and used Presto Page Manager to scan/save the images. However, although it operated without problems under Windows ME, as I am now on XP, when I am trying to scan it keeps giving the message "Error Opening Data Source Manager".
It recommends checking the scanner driver, but the Umax site doesn't appear to recognise the model I have.
Can anyone recommend a site where I can download a driver compatable with Windows XP?
Many thanks.
