Complaint to council about Bristow & Sutor

Options
I am in the middle of writing a letter of complaint to my local council about Bristow & Sutor and I'm afraid that my brain is completely fried! I just wanted to make sure that this sentence makes sense:

"We’d like to take this opportunity to deprecate Bristow & Sutor as the most dishonest and duplicitous company that we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. As our local council, we request that you make it your priority to investigate them and their practices towards your residents."

Does it?

I don't want to send it and look like a muppet! lol

Well, it makes sense - although it is, actually, two sentences.

You have found Bristow & Sutor dishonest and you want your council to investigate.

Would I be correct in guessing that these people are solicitors acting for the council?

Before you send such a letter, ask yourself whether they are being dishonest or just lazy and incompetent.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.
