Wedding insurance

Can anybody recommend an insurer that covers weddings?

I looked at M&S cover and its about what we need. But if we could, for a lower price (Lower than £59). Can anybody recommend any?

Thanks guys

I can personally recommend Confetti Insurance. We didnt actually need to use it, but it was nice to know we were covered if required. Its five years since I was married, so I cant remember how much it cost, but I think it was only about £30 or so?
    10/10 [STRIKE]£12,156.26 [/STRIKE] 11/10 [STRIKE]£11,950[/STRIKE] 04/11[STRIKE] £12,500 [/STRIKE]Ooops! Okay, back on track - 01/2014 £2,800, 05/2014 £4,500 (my car died!)

Am not sure I would recommend them as it was announced that Confetti has gone into administration on the news last week.

  • It may be worthwhile posting your question on the weddings board.
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP

  • We used Ecclesiastical, which was around £30 (4 years ago) as they had been recommended to us

I just got a letter from M&S saying that they're withdrawing their wedding insurance as of 25th (tomorrow) - just so you know!

We used John Lewis (Greenbee). Seemed reasonable coverage/price and easy process. Not had to claim (fingers crossd too).
Married MSE style (sort of) 9/10/10 :j
