I have a Lineone email address which I have had for some time and for several days have been unable to collect emails.
Does anyone know what is wrong with Lineone?
Can anyone tell me how else I can (If at all) collect my mail?

Lineone.net now forwards to Tiscali, so I presume that it has been swallowed up by Tiscali. That shouldn't affect your address as ISPs usually keep them working. The only thing that you must do is dial into the account every so many days. The amount depends on what the ISP sets, but 90 days is not uncommon. This is to keep your account (including your e-mail address) active. Have you done this?aardvaak wrote:I have a Lineone email address which I have had for some time and for several days have been unable to collect emails.0 -
My @lineone address automatically changed to @tiscali.. so when logging on to tiscali try your lineone details

I have today been able to read my emails using mail2web and via tiscali's home page but my Outlook Express still asks to confirm user name and password which I know is correct because I have used them above.0

Hi
I have a old Lineone and Tiscali email account, and they're both working fine, so I suggest you look at your settings to see if anything has changed, ie username@lineone.net, your password, Pop mail server setting, pop3.lineone.net and smtp setting to whoever your default client is, mine's set to my new isps email address.
Hope this helps0 -
All seems to fine now - perhaps it was a temp. (3/4 days) problem.
Thanks for everyones help.0 -
There was a note on their website saying they were carrying out maintenance. Should all be ok now.0
