P60 while on Icome support?

Options
Hi all,

Was wondering if anybody could help me, hope this wont get too confusing! I sent a letter to tax office to claim back tax as they put me on BR for this tax year and got a reply yesterday stating that they would need to see my P60 for tax year 2009/10 from HMRC (who was paying my SMP until sept 2009) and also 'documentary evidence' of the amount of income support i have received in 2009/10. Does anybody know if i will receive a P60 from HMRC (my last employer) as they sent me a P45 at the end of 2008/09 as my contract had officially ended 31/03/2009 but because I was on maternity leave i was still paid SMP trhought them until september. Also do you receive any sort of P60 from JCP at the end of the tax year if you are on benefits?

Lynsey
