Just thought I would come on here and comment about my experience of these guys.

Our Dishwasher nearly caught fire on wednesday evening :eek: so had a look on the web for a suitable replacement, decided on a Bosch and then searched for the best price. We had some argos vouchers to use and they stocked it for £429.

Price comparison sites revealed Electrical123.com to be the cheapest at £299 ( Argos not exactly competitive!!)

I looked at their site and seemed too good to be true as that price included 2 day delivery and they would give me a 2 hour delivery slot. And I could choose the day to suit me which is a great feature. Currys wanted to charge me for delivery and it would be up to 14 days delivery.

I did a quick check on the company and found they are infact an arm of the co-op, and had very good reviews.

I ordered the dishwasher on Tuesday evening and chose today ( thursday) for delivery, last night I received a text message telling me when my 2 hour time slot for delivery today would be, 12.00-14.00.

This enabled me to not have to wait in all day.

I got an email at midnight telling me the dishawasher was on a lorry and had left the warehouse.

Then a lorry pulled up at 11.58!, and the dishwasher was in the kitchen in 2 minutes. They also unwrap the appliance and take away the packaging for you too.

So Im very impressed, the cheapest prices and the best service Ive had for ordering white goods!

Can I duplicate this review for Co-op Electricals. As you've said they're the same company and their service is the same (email to let you know when it's left the warehouse, text to let you know the time slot, taking the packaging away). I ordered a new fridge for my mum on Sunday 20th March and it was delivered on Tuesday 22ns March - no delivery charge.

The only thing I'd like them to change is the texting of the delivery slot. They text you the evening before your delivery so if you have to book time off work to wait in then you still have to book the full day. If you knew further in advance, even by one day, then you may be able to take a half day from work, arrive early or leave late to suit.

I've also got nothing but praise for this co.

A couple of years ago I ordered a tumble dryer from them and not only were they the cheapest but as the OP says their delivery system is fantastic, delivery within 2 days and within a 2 hour time slot.

I also bought a washing machine from them some time later, again it was the cheapest. A couple of days after it arrived it started making some very strange noises, I phoned electical123 up expecting them to tell me to go to the manufacture or that they would send someone out as my mil had been told by curry's when her new washing machine was faulty but nope. They arranged to pick it up and send a replacement out in 2 days (phoned on wed replacement delivered on Friday) they even offered to let me choose a different make/model if I wanted!

I have recommended them to loads of people and everyone who has used them has been equally impressed
