Direct line extra discount

This is for all existing directline customers who started there DL policies by phone.
I have telephoned them reference my 5% extra online discount.
I have been renewing online but at the telephone price and not getting 5% extra discount.
So I asked them to transfer my policy to onlne.
I was quoted to get the discount you must get online quote.I suggested i cancel/don't renew my existing policy,and start a new one.
yes was the reply that is the way to get the 5% discount.
I therefore not only got the extra 5% but an introdutory 15% discount.therefore a discount of 20% for this yaer and 15% thereafter.
This is on top of my extra discount for holding a car policy.
