Hi

Work in a firm of accountants running VAP (viztopia accounts production) and Central.

We need to upgrade for the 2008/09 version and have been to the support website to try and download. Firstly, the procedures which need to be done prior to downloading look rather complex and it does say that it is aimed at IT support professionals - something I am not, lol.

The last upgrade of the accounts production (via CD) we attempted took nearly a day with lots of glitches along the way - most of them were eventually rectified, but there are still a few issues with not being able to log in on the first attempt etc.

We are only a small firm - 4 pc's on a peer to peer network. I know that the company would charge a small fortune to come out to install, so was wondering if anyone out there with any knowledge of such things would be able to quote just to get everything installed properly and running smoothly.

We are based in North Wales, about 10 miles from Chester.
