How long does IVA stay on Credit file?

I entered an IVA Aug 05 and did a full and final Dec 07. Does my IVA stay on my record for 6years from the start or 6 years from full and final????

  • yes, the IVA is recorded on your file for 6 years from the start date. I came out of my IVA early after 3 years, but it will still be there until november this year.

i no this sounds stupid but how do you come out of a iva early?
  • You do a "Full and Final Settlement" You have to have another creditors meeting and give them a proposal of a lump sump to either accept or decline as final settlement. My IVA supervisor suggested it.
