Gladedale Houses

Has anyone bought a new house from gladedale if so did you pay the price that they quoted are did you offer less, we have been looking at their houses and they look nice and the prices seem decent. We are just waiting for our house to be valued through them as they say that they do different schemes to help you buy and sell has anyone bought from them on a deal plan its all new to us buying a new house any tips on buying would be great.

    I bought a gladedale home in feb of 2007 and the for sale sign was up in june 2007 need I say more!!

    had a waterfall coming through the ceiling and guess what they said " put your compliant in writing":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    lukily sold the dump by december 2007 and this was a large 4 bed detached but might aswell have been in central beirut:rotfl:



    which site are you looking at?

    certainly offer at least a third less than the asking price and get a completion date written into the contract

  • Oh dear they dont sound very good then, when we were looking arround there were a few for sale signs up and it made me wonder how come when they have only been built less than 2 yrs. Its the site in s yorks.

    i used to work for gladedale. Dont touch them- the houses are shoddy with poor workmanship and cheap materials. Equally they never finish anything off and will soon be bust. They have new management which is a short term fix- they broke Redrow homes and were kicked out, then turned up at gladedale! The bank is only biding its time with them and will call it a day before long!
