Not sure whether this company is legit or not but i suspect they'll be making a profit on handling your claim for you.
Just seen an ad on tv which screams to me that they're vultures.
Just wondered if anyone has had any dealings with them or if MSE could do some research for the many members who could be sucked in by them if they are just vultures.

I like to say a very big thank you to moneyboomerang!
In August of this year I saw an advert on TV from moneyboomerang about reclaiming miss sold PPI. So I decided to try and claim on a loan from 2003 which was with Lloyds TSB. I wasn't sure if I was entitled to anything but thought to myself, nothing ventured nothing gained!
Four months later, to my great surprise moneyboomerang managed to get me £6,800 back!
Yes I had to give them 25% +VAT but I am more than happy with the outcome as I am now able to pay for a college course that I have been wanting to do for some time now.
Once again, thank you moneyboomerang for your professional and friendly service. I would definitely recommend!

I am more than happy with the outcome
Giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you are not posting a fake message (new sign up, 2 posts made and both promoting this company....), you were happy to pay £2040 to a company to put a stamp on an envelope on a letter that would have taken you 5 minutes to write and stand a 90% chance of success if you had done it yourself?

I read what it says on here and wonder just how much is spam etc.
I retired to Greece 4 years ago and a lot of old papaerwork was shredded before leaving. Could someone tell me of a more reputable firm than Boomerang, or what to do if I have no paperwork whatsoever and cannot remember who we had loans with 10 years ago.
Thanks0 -

If you can't even remember which Lenders you used it's likely going to be very difficult and a bit expensive to track them down.
Start by sending Subject Access Request (SAR) letters to any likely candidates that you think you may have had loans or credit cards with. It costs £10 per request (payable to the Bank) Here is an excellent template

If and when you discover who your lenders were, then go here for excellent AND FREE advice on how to proceed with your complaint:

Good luck!
