Credit Cards with higher limits?

Options
I’m looking at either a Barclaycard or a Halifax Credit Card, ... one or the other, I’m just wondering if anyone on here has both - or one of them, and what people’s experiences are with which card provider usually provides the higher credit limit?

Whether you offered a high limit will be down to your credit history and information you submit on application.

Have you looked into what your chances are for getting either card ?
The credit ref agencies may provide this.

Why not apply for both. You can always exercise your Right to Withdraw from the credit agreement with the lower limit...

I'd say Barclaycard would give you the higher limit. My Barclaycard CC is almost 3x the limit of my Lloyd's CC(they are part of the same group, but it could be where I applied for Barclaycard before Lloyds)

It’s completely circumstantial so there is no definitive answer

I’ve found America express to give the highest limits. They also increase quickly.

True, for every one who will tell you they got a high limit with one there will be another that says the opposite..

The question though is it "the highest" limit the OP wants, and why, or a limit above a certain amount, and for what reason. Lets say OP wants to BT £8K then it does not matter whether they get £9K, £10K, or £15K surely?

Lloyds and Barclaycard are no way part of the same banking group.

No, I know that they aren't in the same banking group.
I meant with Lloyds and Halifax
