Banking outages / glitches

Can anyone remember please a major tech meltdown in the last two or three years that began on a Saturday morning. The bank / building soc in question tried to claim it was all sorted on the Sunday, only for it to rumble on well into the week?

Natwest, RBS were long running issues.
I find it amazing that despite such high profile issues previously that some people still only rely on a single bank/debit card for all their transactions. It just makes sense to have more than one card/account just in case one bank has a problemRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

Nationwide had their share of unplanned outages last year, as reported on threads including:

but to be honest it's a needle in a haystack search!
The sheer volume of outages reported at sites like http://downdetector.co.uk/ and http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ is pretty overwhelming....0
