Just caught up on your diary and had to add my congratulations to the fantastic efforts you are making to get the debt down. Getting rid of the Hitachi loan, next and new look accounts was a very wise move as they are expensive debts as are overdrafts so good to see them gone too.

Setting up an annual bills and emergency fund are again 2 really good moves and well done for getting your OH on board too.

I hope you reach your target of being under £30k by the end of the year. That would be a great achievement.

    Thank you.

So glad I found this site as I'm certain I'd still be hovering around that 37k mark with no savings to speak of.

Really can't wait to see the figure under 30k and to end the year with that goal complete would be amazing. Just gotta keep chipping away at it

With Swagbucks my first advice would be make sure you have the app on your smartphone

Its only one sb but theres a daily poll you can do via the app.

Next on there site theres a thing called the daily crave same again another sb for just watching silly news clips

Next just daily try all the gold surveys and peanut labs surveys i always do better with the peanut lab surveys than gold.

My final tip is just perservere with it if it takes 2-3 weeks thats what it takes. I spend alot of time doing surveys as i work 4 on 4 off

    Stick with it.

Opinium Research is a really good one.

Mmmm might try again with swagbucks.

Mummy bear, so close to your September targets. How much over your targets can you go?

    Have a great evening.

    How much indeed.

I actually think this is not going to be a continuing trend sadly. I know we can't sustain £1500 payment each month. So some future targets may be smaller.

Wow it annoys me that we'll have paid over £1500 off this month alone.... £1500:eek:. Wow that's alot of people's monthly wage. It's disgusting. It's a stark reminder of why we need rid of this debt.

Mummy bear you have inspired me so much. I've even started my own diary today. Please could you explain to me how to subscribe to your diary like I've seen other people say? X

    Hi Poppy,

at the top of mine, and others diaries, there is a button that says subscribe. I've only seen it on my laptop or tablet, not on my phone.

I will seek out your diary too :)

mummy bear I've spent the evening reading your diary, wow you've done amazingly well!! I've now signed up to qmee and prolific, hoping to get a little extra bits of cash here and there, although I've not had much success with surveys in the past. I've subscribed and will keep checking in to see how you're doing. MrsT

    Morning

All I can smell is sick :(. After DS being unwell last week all seemed well by Monday and he was back in school. Thursday morning I get a call from school to say he'd been sick in class. Theres another bug going round. I've been woken this morning to both DD and DS being sick. I really really hope I don't get it. I've got so much scheduled at work the stress of being ill is not what I need.

Ugh. Anyway onto something more positive, I've been buying Christmas presents! :xmassmile ! I'm being super organised. Christmas has been the one expense each year that we've budgeted for and put money to one side each month. I absolutely love Christmas time.

Not had much time to complete many surveys this past week. When I've tried I've been screened out quite a few. However, managed to scrape a bit together for a little BC pad the other day.
