Royal mail large letter boxes

Options
I want to buy the largest size of box that complies with The Royal Mail large letter size. Can anyone advise me as to what sort is best to buy as there seems to be different types i.e die cut ones and tab ones. Some of them seem to be a bit larger than the Royal Mail dimensions of 240 x 165 x 5. Surely they wouldn't be accepted.

As above, that's not LL, that is the Letter size.

Often box sizes are determined by the interior dimensions. You need to be sure that the height measured outside is under 25mm.

Oh yes I've got the dimensions wrong.
Which are better die cast or tabs?

It depends what you want it for - there are loads of large letter boxes on ebay, if they are reasonable quality cardboard you get about 18mm usable height inside, plenty of width as large letter is A4 size i believe.

If you arent sure then just order 1 and try it!

    Thanks,

    Gary.
