Has anyone put together a charity calendar?
Our charity has a brand new Lottery funded printer copier and we are considering if we could produce a decent calendar with photographs of our village to sell next Christmas.
I am concerned about getting the correct paper and making sure we do the spiral binding correctly.
Anyone?

Getting the correct paper and doing the spiral binding correctly isn't the first step: getting the sums right is the starting point! Find out if there is a genuine demand and if so, what people are prepared to pay - and then sort out paper quality etc and see if you can produce a decent quality item without making a loss.
What will generate excellent free publicity is having a competition for photos to use in the calendar. The 'prize', of course, is the honour and glory of seeing your name and photo in print.0 -
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, should have made that clear; we've covered the steps you suggested last year and had a good response, so confident to move forward.
Looking for advice re the practicalities, hence the posting in the 'Crafting' forum.0
