As title.
The screensaver stopped working after I did a Flash update yesterday , the settings are all as were, as far as I can see, but the ss just doesn't start
Any suggestions welcome as to what I should be looking for.
I am not a complete novice but I just can't find the answer to this one after 4 hours of looking this morning

I am saving that for later0 -
Presumably Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10??? Have you tried the Adobe forums?0

Modern LCD screens don't suffer so much from screen-burn, so you probably don't need a screensaver. You could just set the display to turn off automatically after a certain period of inactivity.0

What time do you have set in the Screen Saver settings? Does it work if you click on preview in the settings box? Have you set a power setting that is doing something before the screen saver is due to start?0

I have it set for 10 minutes (unchanged) it works on preview (slideshow) and I have no power settings that kick in before the SS (unchanged)0 -
I can't believe anyone uses Adobe Flash anymore, it's one of the most exploited pieces of software around and is best avoided.
De-install it and save yourself grief.0 -

I'm on the verge of doing that. It's "click to activate" anyway in my browser.
But there are still a few sites (that I can't remember now) which still use it.
It's definitely on its last legs, though.0 -
3 times today the SS came on but every other time I came back to the screen that I left open and all this without changing any settings from yesterday0
