What do you Consider a Good Age to Live to?

Options
Hi All,

Obviously this question is subject to the person having good or at least reasonable health but what age would you be happy to reach?

Personally I'd say 90, though it may be a little ambitious. Life expectancy in our area is 86, and I guess nobody wants to be average!

Age 75, living alone, but with a friend who comes over at weekends, still working, still driving, enjoying holidays, enjoying my dogs and my family - I hope that this situation continues for many, many years, but I appreciate that things can change in the blinking of an eye - so I am "age-proofing" my home, my way of life and I am de-cluttering and leaving instructions for my family after my death - which I shall update every 10 years! :-D

My MIL is 97 - at home, bedridden. Been a steady decline for 10 years and rapid in 2018.

    No thank you

Surely the important question is not how many years you live but what you do with the years you have?

I'd want to live till a time when (lack of) quality of life dictates that I'd be better off dead. That can happen at any age, be it 0, 10, 30, 50, or 110!
