I know that this thread is very useful for the forum, but is it unwittingly doing exactly what the spammer wants?
For example, the above spammer is a forum profile spammer, so their profile contains a link to the website https://may***donggoi.vn/
This thread provides the link between an active thread and their profile, meaning that all of the search engine bots find the active link, go to the profile and register the link to the spammer's target site - doing their so-called "SEO" work for them.
The above applies to any profile spammer (who may also be a thread post spammer as well) who puts a web link in the Contact (or any other) section of their forum profile and who gets PPR'd instead of just being deleted.
Would it not be better to just delete the accounts of profile spammers?0 -
