‘Loan Support Fee’ ???

Options
Posting on behalf of my father. He has come across some old statements for a car loan in the nineties. The statements seem to have a one off ‘loan support fee’ but no explanation as to what this is. Could this have been ppi?

It could be a number of things. Arrears support or arrangement fee are probably the most likely.

PPI is not a fee. So, its cant be that.

Even if it was PPI, you are way before regulation of car dealers.
