Thumbs up Amazon

Ordered a new kindle paper white last weekend as my previous one accidentally got left on a train (oops)

Paid £119.99 and it was delivered on Tue and I was/am very happy with it.

Our son commented yesterday that he would like one for xmas and they were on special offer for £89.99 !!

Having read various posts around this theme, I decided on the "smart" (and probably best) approach.

Sent a polite email to Amazon, asking it would be possible for them to give a small gesture based on this difference in price and also stating that I understood if this would not be possible.

Wasn't expecting anything, hoped for £10 maybe £15 as a gesture.

Received a very nice reply this morning stating that they had authorised a refund of the £30 difference.

Well done Amazon, thumbs up and fair play !!
