    You are not entitled to anything till the day they terminate your contract.
    You are not even on notice of termination yet.

    You can ask if you can be let go early with a payout.
    See what your boss says as they have already done you a favour by letting you know which gave you a choice.

    DO you have an unconditional offer from the new place, not dependant on anything like references?

    The company notice to you will be 12 weeks that would need PILON to meet your time scales.

    I have posted this numerous times.

    Redundancy money is not a payment for long service, it is a payment to help pay living expenses until a new job is found. You have a big advantage on your fellow employees in that you have a job to go to and don't have to compete with them for any suitable jobs that may be on offer.

    Forget the redundancy, go off and enjoy your new job
